Founded by Clinical Director and plastic surgeon Dr Duncan Lowe and Managing Director Hannah Lowe, our clinic brings together experienced medical, surgical and nursing professionals. Meet the team
Dr Duncan Lowe
Clinical Director and Plastic Surgeon
Duncan is an experienced plastic surgeon specialising in skin surgery and the treatment of skin cancer. Alongside his role as Clinical Director at Glasgow Skin Specialists, he works within NHS dermatology and plastic surgery, assessing and treating almost 1,000 skin cancers each year.

He is Surgical Lead within Dermatology at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and has particular expertise in removing skin lesions and reconstructing the affected area with careful attention to both safety and appearance.
Dr Rachel Gardner
Consultant Dermatologist
Dr Rachel Gardner is a Consultant Dermatologist who also works within the NHS in Glasgow. She completed her specialist dermatology training in the West of Scotland and has worked as Consultant Dermatologist since 2015.
Her clinical expertise covers a wide range of adult dermatological conditions, skin cancer assessment and dermatological surgery. Her NHS practice includes specialist clinics focusing on acne and pigmentary disorders.
Dr Amrita Randhawa
Consultant Dermatologist
Dr Amrita Randhawa is a Consultant Dermatologist who also works within the NHS in Glasgow. She completed her dermatology training in the West of Scotland.
Dr Randhawa has broad experience across the full spectrum of adult dermatology, including medical dermatology, skin cancer assessment and dermatological surgery.
Her clinical interests include the management of inflammatory skin conditions and pigmentary disorders.
Emma Lamb
Lead Nurse
Emma is an experienced dermatology nurse with a background in private healthcare. She has extensive experience supporting patients with skin conditions, skin surgery and follow-up care.
Warm, knowledgeable and reassuring, Emma helps patients feel informed and comfortable throughout their time with Glasgow Skin Specialists—from their first appointment through treatment and aftercare.
Hannah Lowe
Managing Director
Hannah co-founded Glasgow Skin Specialists and oversees the clinic’s day-to-day management, governance and patient experience.
Before establishing the clinic, she spent more than 15 years in senior leadership, policy and governance roles within the UK Civil Service. She is responsible for ensuring that the clinic operates safely and smoothly, while providing every patient with clear, responsive and thoughtful support.
